A landmine detection rat called Magawa, has been given a top award for his lifesaving bravery. Magawa, who is a giant African pouched rat, has discovered 39 landmines and 28 items of unexploded ordnance in Cambodia. He's been trained by Apopo, an organisation based in Tanzania. He was awarded the gold medal from the UK animal charity The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals, or PDSA. Amy Dickin of the PDSA told us about him.
