A bar-tailed godwit has made what's thought to be the longest journey recorded for a bird - all the way from Alaska to New Zealand, a 12,000 km journey. The bird took eleven days to travel from one part of the globe to the other and it's said to have the aerodynamics of a jet fighter, as it flew at speeds of up to 55km per hour.
