A Junior Minister in the Irish Government has appealed to people not to travel from Northern Ireland to the Republic for shopping trips, while there are different Covid-19 regulations. Non essential retail will open in the Republic tomorrow, while Northern Ireland has entered a two week 'circuit breaker' lockdown. Fianna Fáil TD & junior minister,Thomas Byrne, says people should not be crossing the border unnecessarily.
