This spring as lockdowns were enforced across the globe The Cultural Frontline started a project with the British sound designer and producer Nick Ryan. Our aim was simple: to collect the sounds that you our listeners had heard as our environments changed. This is the soundscape created by Nick consisting of sounds from listeners from countries including Kenya, Singapore, USA, Mexico, India, Ireland, Canada, France, Spain, Portugal, Nepal, Gambia, Belgium, Malaysia, Australia and the UK.
