What does the future hold for non-league football?

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio London Sport

Available for over a year

Managers, club officials, administrators and fans at clubs in step seven and below are calling for clarity and strong leadership in deciding what happens to the season. Play in the Isthmian and Southern Leagues as well as feeder divisions came to an end before Christmas and clubs are now being consulted on the plan. It is expected that that season 20/21 which only got going in the autumn and has seen most teams play less than 10 league games will be null and voided. But when will we know what's happening, how are our clubs faring - and what does the future hold? Nick Godwin is joined by the Editor-at-large of the Non-League Paper Matt Badcock, Chair of Tooting and Mitcham United Caroline McRoyall and Cray Wanderers CEO Sam Wright to take a closer look. This clip was originally broadcast on Thursday 14th January 2021.
