'I feel that I'm being traumatised over and over again'

The Breakfast Show

Available for over a year

A Derry man who spent six weeks in a mother and baby home before he was adopted says a full inquiry into what happened should take place sooner rather than later. Anthony, was born in Daisy Hill Hospital in 1967. He was then taken to Marianvale Mother and Baby home with his 27-year-old birth mother for six weeks. He was later adopted and even though a priest told him never to bother trying to find his mother - he tried his hardest. Anthony has been speaking for the first time to our reporter Dean McLaughlin about his journey.
