The Mark Patterson Show

Available for over a year

Big solutions are needed for big problems such as plastic pollution, carbon capture and global warming. Irish ecologist and writer, Padraic Fogarty, is the author of 'Whittled Away', a seminal account of the dozens of species we have lost in Ireland down the years; bears, wolves, fish, insects and many more. In the first of a new feature, he considers one of his 6 'big ideas' for the environmental restoration of Ireland, namely a Shark Park off the northern waters of Ulster. He joined Mark along with Ulster University lecturer, Dr Eamon O'Chiardra.
