Coventry friends Craig Smith, Richard Lappin, Paul Loveitt, John Young, Michael Griffin and Paddy Herbert are taking on the challenge of conquering the six main routes to the summit of Snowdon over a 3-day challenge. The routes include: Pyg Track, Miners’ Track, Llanberis Path, Watkin Path, Rhyd-Ddu Path and the Snowdon Ranger Path, they aim to include two routes each day. Each of the men have a personal connection to the charity. The fundraiser is to mark what would be Daniel Smith's 30th birthday, Craig's brother. Through Daniel's passing his family have learnt they have a SDHB gene mutation through their paternal line, something that has led to regular cancer screening within the wider family.
