A very special Windrush time-capsule piece has been created to remember and celebrate the people who moved from the Caribbean to Ipswich in the late 1940s onwards, arriving in the UK to help rebuild the country after the World War. Max Thomas and the Ipswich Windrush society, created a room at Sailmakers shopping centre, that replicates a typical front room of someone newly arrived from the Caribbean. A very moving aspect , it also hosts many orders of service from those who have now passed. Cad Taylor spoke to Max and Glen Chisholm in the room.
