Bristol taxi drivers stage go-slow protest

James Hanson

Available for over a year

Bristol taxi drivers are unhappy with the removal of a rank outside the Hippodrome. This morning, they staged a go-slow protest around the city centre which caused big delays for drivers. So far, hundreds of drivers have been fined by the council for picking up passengers there. Saif Hussain from the Bristol Blue Taxi Association spoke to James Hanson, and said the council should reinstate the old rank near the Hippodrome.
