Texas abortion: A doctor's perspective

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ OS

Available for over a year

A new law restricting access to abortions is being celebrated by supporters in Texas, but for the doctors and pro-choice activists who could be prosecuted under it, it's devastating. Any individual now has the right to sue anyone involved with providing or facilitating an abortion past six weeks of pregnancy. Dr Ghazaleh Moayedi carries out abortions in her OB-GYN practice in north Texas and says, "It's devastating to tell someone you can't take care of them because of the law, not because of your medical or surgical ability."
