Addressing global vaccine inequality

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The US is to donate 500 million more doses of the Pfizer vaccine to developing nations, according to President Biden. The additional jabs will see the total US commitment on vaccine sharing exceed one billion jabs. We'll hear response from advocates for global vaccine equality, Lily Caprani, head of Advocacy for Health at UNICEF and Peter Maybarduk at the not-for-profit consumer advocacy organisation Public Citizen. Plus, Thomas Cueni, Director General at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations, explains how the sector itself can help make sure the world is vaccinated.
