Many fairy-tales tell us that one day a prince will come for the princess but these ideas of what true love looks like may be damaging. Ferzeen is originally from India, now in the USA, and has had trouble building relationships throughout her adult life. She grew up embarrassed of having divorced parents and wonders if this might be holding her back. Dr Shefali suggests that the hope and fantasy of a 'perfect' family that she developed as a child is driving her to seek unrealistic relationships.
