A Southampton resident has been haied a 'hero' for rescuing a distressed swan, in Southampton's Riverside Park. The black swan was bleeding, and tangled in fishing wire. Jo and Leslie from Bitterne both called ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Saturday Breakfast show having seen 'Jamie' rescue the swan. A local vet treating the swan says it's 'doing well' and has had the fishing line removed.
