Have we seen the end of the suit?

Radio 4 in Four

Available for over a year

For many, a well-fitting suit has long been a wardrobe aspiration. But as fashions change, and occasionally working from home becomes more normal, what’s the future of the suit? Saville Row in London has been the leader in bespoke tailoring for 200 years, but in recent months some shops on the famous road have closed because of a drop in demand. But it’s not just bespoke tailors rethinking the suit - so is the high street. Shari Vahl finds out more. First broadcast on You & Yours, 3 November 2021.
