Counter Terrorism expert says we still don't know reason for Liverpool blast

As the investigation continues into why a man went to Liverpool Women's Hospital with an improvised explosive device, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Secretary, Priti Patel, has told reporters that its a reflection of a "dysfunctional" asylum system. It emerged yesterday that the bomber, 32-year-old Emad Al Swealmeen, was a failed asylum seeker. He died following the explosion in a taxi on Sunday morning. Police now believe the main charge on the device may have failed to detonate. Dr David Lowe is an expert in Counter Terrorism, a senior research fellow at Leeds Beckett University's Law School and a retired Merseyside Police officer. He spoke to Paul Salt to Paul Salt about how the investigation will proceed.
