Pressures on A&E: Inside Bradford Royal Infirmary

Richard Stead

Available for over a year

A senior doctor at Bradford Royal Infirmary has warned that the pressure in A&E is the worst he's seen it since qualifying 19 years ago. It comes as the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts - which represents hospitals across the county - says it is facing the busiest and most challenging winter yet. NHS England says it is supporting trusts as they deal with record demand for emergency services, but leaders on the front line say they are worried about staff burning out.
