A 14 year old boy has been charged with the murder of 12 year old Ava White in Liverpool City Centre last week. The teenager, who can't be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with possession of a bladed article and is due to appear in court later today. Three other boys have been bailed while investigations continue. Ava was in town with friends on Thursday evening when she was attacked. Police say she had "catastrophic injuries. Laura Hughes's brother, Colin McGinty, was 21 when he was stabbed by two men who thought he was somebody else, after a night out in Bootle. Laura spoke with Paul Salt on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Merseyside, along with Alan Walsh from the 'Real Men Don't Carry Knives' campaign.
