Derek Tinnion is called a hero by his community after he and 8 family members worked around the clock, 24 hours a day, throughout the pandemic. The store has been run by three generations of the same family for 60 years. The Duchess visited the war memorial in Seend, an exhibition at the Wiltshire Museum, stopped off for popcorn at the new cinema in Marlborough and was presented with a hamper at Derek's Spar shop on Bath Road in Devizes.
