Star Wars alpacas retire from public life

The Newsroom

Available for over a year

Ben and Jerry, two alpacas that once appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, are retiring. They have appeared in films, fashion shoots, adverts and even their own gangster film, and have also brought joy to visitors at Vauxhall City Farm in London, UK, for many years. The team at the farm say it's time for them to retire to quieter pastures, away from the glare of publicity and public life,. Chris Platt, Education and Partnerships Manager at the farm, says they've brought "a real sense of community to the farm - people see them and they're so transfixed by them".
