The past 18 months have been tough for the tourism sector in Liverpool. Numerous lockdowns, forces closures and public uncertainty have meant that many businesses have struggled to hold on throughout the pandemic. Now that restrictions have eased, it looks like the sector is bouncing back and so next March, when the Liverpool Tourism Awards take place, it's hoped there will be a feeling of real celebration in the air. One of the awards which is up for grabs is the 'Hidden Gem' category, which is sponsored by 'The Guide' Liverpool. Founder, Jay Hynd, spoke with Paul Salt on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Merseyside Breakfast.
