Amos fought in the British Army in Afghanistan but says the fight to stay in UK "was harder". It comes after MPs voted against an amendment to scrap visa fees for those born overseas, which affects veterans from the Commonwealth as well as Gurkhas from Nepal - all of whom served for the British armed forces.
