HGV Drivers: 'Anyone who passes will be able to find work'

Paul Salt

Available for over a year

A lack of HGV drivers, due to a combination of Covid, Brexit and other factors, has been blamed for supply-chain shortages this year. It's estimated around 100 thousand more HGV drivers are still needed. The City of Liverpool College is offering free skills 'Bootcamps' in HGV driving. College's Principal and Chief Executive, Elaine Bowker, explains what's available.
