Volunteers have been packing 500 Christmas hampers for vulnerable families across Stoke on Trent. The YMCA North Staffordshire has filled them with donations of sweets, colouring books and Christmas stockings for children. Staff at the charity say the pandemic has seen more people need help this year. One of the volunteers, Andy from Staffordshire, gave up his time after hearing Nicky Twemlow from the charity talking about her work on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Stoke.
