'The Wirral Wombles' are a local litter-picking group, founded by sisters Lindsey Whitley and Andrea Cutts. They started during lockdown as a way to encourage people to clean-up their local area when out on a walk. They have now been nominated in this year's Keep Britain Tidy Awards.
