Suaad first came to Devon to study for her PhD and having met her husband whilst at University has stayed here to raise her family. She is the Managing Director of the Exeter Respect Festival which she's been involved in for nearly twenty five years. Suaad's passion for football dates back to her childhood, growing up in a Palestinian village kicking a ball about with her brother. Now living in Devon she's the founder and manager of Exeter United, a football club for people from all ethnic backgrounds which aims to bring them together through the shared language of sport.
