In this seasonal edition of Mum and Me, son Andrew spends Christmas morning with his Mum, but she's completely unaware that it's a special day. He reflects on 2021. She spent a number of weeks in hospital and, on two occasions, doctors weren't sure she'd even be able to return home. But Carolyn recovered and is still physically strong, despite having late stage dementia (Alzheimer's and vascular). She's also made it through 2021 unscathed by Covid-19 and is triple jabbed.
