"It was a pretty horrible experience."

Available for over a year

Former Basildon MP, Baroness Angela Smith, was with the Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in London on Monday when protestors surrounded and heckled him. Some of them were heard criticising Sir Keir for backing Covid jabs, but there were also shouts about Jimmy Savile. At least six Tory MPs later linked the incident to the PM's incorrect comment that Sir Keir had failed to prosecute serial sex offender Savile. Mr Johnson condemned the harassment. Baroness Smith has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex that it was "a pretty horrible experience".
