Bedworth Civic Hall remains closed this year: council says Covid trumps concerts

CWR Breakfast with Phil Upton

Available for over a year

Bedworth's council leader has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR that they are saving money by keeping Bedworth's Civic Hall as a vaccination centre. A deal has been signed to keep the site giving Covid vaccines until June, and now the council plans to keep the venue closed for the rest of the year. A petition's been started calling for the centre to reopen as an entertainment venue, but the council say it's losing them £800,000 a year. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council leader Kris Wilson has been speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR about the Civic Hall's future.
