The pressures facing our doctors and nurses over the last couple of years have been immeasurable. But one A&E nurse from the Countess of Chester hospital says a recent trip to Malawi has actually helped her cope better with the job back home. In December, Lorraine Lloyd, who has been a nurse for almost 40 years, joined a team from frontline medical aid charity UK-Med who travelled to Africa to help the fight against Covid.
