Two visual arts projects celebrating the diverse women of Coventry is looking for people to take part. The first is JOY which aims to showcase the work of eight emerging and established Brown Visual Artists who are female or describe themselves as female. The themes of the exhibition are POWER, BEAUTY & JOY and the artists will be offered micro-commissions. The second is Nungi which is celebrating brown women, of every skin tone, shape, size, and age range to feature in a black and white photography exhibition disrupting the narratives around Brown beauty, power, misogyny, and colourism. Nungi aims to showcase the work of an established female photographer and 12 subjects/sitters/models. The producer Shine Duggal spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Trish Adudu.
