CrowdScience

Available for over a year

Sea-turtles make incredibly long migrations throughout their lives and are able to navigate with great accuracy, but how? Prof. Ken Lohmann who has studied sea-turtles navigational skill for decades tells CrowdScience presenter Anand Jagatia about the different cues they use to orientate themselves as they make their first trips into the ocean. The baby turtles’ ability to sense magnetism may be key for keeping it in safer waters.
