A food bank in King’s Lynn is expanding due to an increase in the number of people asking for help. The service is run by the Fairstead Community Shop, which also sells donated goods as cheaply as it can. “A lot of people haven’t got a lot of money… we’re just giving out more and more food banks at the moment,” said manager Emma Brock. Originally serving the Fairstead Estate, one of England’s most deprived neighbourhoods, it’s now expanding to help people across west Norfolk.
