A mum from Rugby has called for ambulance response times to be improved after her son died from a cardiac arrest. 18-year-old Jamie Rees was left waiting more than 17 minutes for an ambulance on New Year's Day. Paramedics aim to reach all cardiac arrest patients within 7 minutes. West Midlands Ambulance Service says it had five emergency calls in Rugby in the hour before Jamie collapsed. It added a further investigation report would also be provided.
