Graffiti, litter, dark areas and sexual deviancy along 13 miles of a canal path in Woking is being tackled by police and local volunteers. It's after a spike in crime including men indecently exposing themselves on the Basingstoke canal. Late last year, Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend got £175,000 from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office’s Safer Streets project to fund the work needed.
