Children's author Jodie Lancet-Grant, decided to put pen to paper when she couldn't find a book for her daughters that showed her own LGBTQ+ family. Her first book,’The Pirate Mums’ catapulted Jodie into the spotlight when it was read by Sue Perkins as the first ever CBeebies bedtime story to feature a family with two mums. And she’s just published her second book, ‘The Marvellous Doctors For Magical Creatures’.
