Soldiers from 16 Air Assault Brigade, based at Colchester's Merville Barracks, remain under investigation after a video emerged of paratroopers having sex with a woman they'd reportedly smuggled into their barracks. The Armed Forces Minister, James Heappey, has told the media that the footage was "disgraceful". The Ministry of Defence has said in a statement: “The Army expects the highest standards of behaviour from all their personnel. Anyone not maintaining these standards will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken against them. Col Kemp “The Royal Military Police are investigating several videos appearing to involve Army personnel, it would be inappropriate to comment further while investigations are ongoing.” ѿý Essex speaks to Colonel Richard Kemp from Colchester, the former commander of the Royal Anglian Regiment and who led British forces in Afghanistan in 2003.
