Back in the 70s when it started, there were people who said that skate boarding and roller skating were just fads...however, over 40 years later, they are more popular than ever! It is still quite a male-dominated sport though, now, one group on Merseyside has been created to make sure more females get the chance to try it out. Since being founded two years ago its creator, Steff Norton, says Liverpool Girl Skaters has gone from strength to strength.
