Rose Garden Cafe in Sheffield is closed with immediate effect because the roof was found to be unsafe. A structural report, requested by Sheffield City Council, recommends the cafe is demolished. It also concludes that if the building was to be repaired, it would cost around £550,000. The cafe's been at the park since 1927, and a crowdfunder and petition have been started to try to save it.
