These incredible people have been nominated for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester Make A Difference Awards, recognising people in the community who go above and beyond. We had hundreds of nominations across all the categories and we can now reveal that shortlist - and hear from the finalists. The Newbold Verdon Christian Community Choir brings together singers from three churches across the village. Sewa Day Leicester began life as a yearly event that now operates throughout the year helping people in need. Team Hub took over their local community centre and has quickly become the heart of New Parks. We Care UK began during the pandemic as a way to provide support and now regularly support thousands of families in our area.
