Rebecca Parker

Available for over a year

Peter Woodnutt, from Ryde, has attended his second proclamation of a monarch on the Isle of Wight. He was 11 in 1952 when the then Queen Elizabeth II's reign was proclaimed in Newport. He was back there 70 years on, to the Minster in Newport, to witness the proclamation of the reign of King Charles III. He also spoke about sending a poem he’d written, about the environment, to the Queen and receiving a written reply from Queen, Sir David Attenborough and, as they were then, Prince Charles and Prince William.
