Lives On The Line: Cubbington

CWR Breakfast with Phil Upton

Available for over a year

A Cubbington business and resident tell us how HS2 is affecting their village. Construction of the new line between London and the West Midlands is taking place now. In response, HS2 Ltd says it's committed to engaging with communities affected by the building of the new railway and to minimising impacts wherever possible. In Cubbington, it says that an extensive environmental programme is taking place: 17 hectares of habitat have been created, 60,000 trees planted, and seven new ponds are attracting swallows, swifts, newts, frogs and insects.
