Is it right for football's World Cup to go to Qatar?

Wayne Bavin

Available for over a year

We are less than a month away now from the 2022 FIFA World Cup; being hosted in Qatar. But is it right for football to go there? British LGBT rights campaigner Peter Tatchell was stopped by Qatari officials in Doha recently, after protesting against the country's human rights records. The first matches will take place in less than a month, but some fans are boycotting the event over Qatar's poor treatment of migrant workers and the homosexual community. What is Qatar really like? Wayne chats to Suffolk born journalist Kate Riley, who spent time reporting in Qatar.
