Claire Carter on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Somerset

Available for over a year

The Environment Agency says water levels in reservoirs and groundwater levels are still very low. At the start of November, Wimbleball Lake was about 20% full and Clatworthy Reservoir 33% full. Wessex Water's total storage capacity was at 47% and South West Water's at 35%. Jim Flory, from the Environment Agency, tells Claire Carter we need above average rainfall through winter and early spring to guarantee a good water supply and to support wildlife.
