Tesco's website crashed this morning [Tuesday 15 October] as more than 290,000 people tried to book a Christmas delivery slot with the supermarket. Some shoppers have complained that the queue opened before the advertised time, with many joining at 0545 to find tens of thousands of others already waiting.
