The story of young journalist Dorothy Lawrence, who grew up in Salisbury, and got to the trenches in the First World War by disguising herself as a man. Barbara Evans from the 'Her Salisbury Story' project and Alice Maddicott from Salisbury Museum tell reporter Sophie Parker about Dorothy, who is one of many local women featured in an exhibition at the museum between November 2022 and April 2023.
