Doctors have told an Essex company their kit has saved the lives of at least 25 motorcyclists Last week, an Essex Police officer escaped serious injury after a collision involving two lorries because of an airbag built into his motorbike clothing. He's recovering after the accident that happened during the Just Stop Oil protest on the M25. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex speaks to Peter Riley, MD at Helite UK who produce the airbags, as well as Kate Jennings from Hideout Leather in Ashden near Saffron Walden - they take Peter's airbags and build them into the protective clothing that then goes out to Essex Police and other forces around the country. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex also speaks to Grant Goodings who bought his motorbike gear from Hideout Leather and has been wearing his suit with airbags in it for a couple of years.
