Stir-up Sunday: Katie makes Christmas a pudding with her son

Katie Martin

Available for over a year

Today is Stir Up Sunday, the traditional day to mix and make your Christmas pudding. Stir-up Sunday is a centuries-old annual tradition where home-cooks spend the last Sunday before Advent 'stirring up' their Christmas pudding. That means it's not on the same date each year, and falls somewhere at the end of November before Advent begins. A die-hard shop bought baker, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent’s Katie Martin had a go at making her own this weekend, with some help from her 6 year old son Aidan.
