The first of three ghostly encounters as told by members of the public and recorded by Holmes Tolley, first heard on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Service in late 1960. Our first tale concerns Mrs. Everitt, who hears mysterious footsteps in the upstairs room of her 17th century Warwickshire Manor House.
