Youth centres are 'a vital part of our community'

Good Morning Ulster

Available for over a year

As we have been talking about this week on the programme, funding cuts to youth centres will have a major impact on young people in some of our most vulnerable communities. That warning comes from youth leaders after being told the money they will be able to apply for to keep their operations running next year is down on this year by up to a quarter in some cases. We were joined by four youth workers, Tori and Gareth from North West youth services and Caolán and Caítríona who work in Turf Lodge. They are all in their early twenties and they are the people at the front of these services.
